Overview
The paintings used in the background of these prints are from a series of abstract interpretations of state flowers of the United States that I painted over several months. I loved the contrast of a simple silhouette and lots of white space paired with the colorful detail of the paintings and an elegant script font, giving traditional children's art a new level of sophistication.
